About the Role
As a Legal Counsel (Generalist) you will work with a broad mix of business law matters and help clients find clear, practical solutions to their legal questions. The role offers variety, close client interaction, and a strong opportunity to develop as a well-rounded legal advisor within Fondia’s modern legal service model. Experience in employment law matters is considered especially valuable, as many of our clients need pragmatic support with people-related legal questions.
Key Responsibilities
Providing practical legal advice to clients across a broad range of business law matters and supporting them with day-to-day legal questions;
Drafting, reviewing, and commenting on legal documents, including contracts, corporate documentation, employment-related documents, claims, and other legal materials;
Conducting legal research, analyzing applicable legislation and case law, and translating legal findings into clear, practical recommendations for clients.
Requirements
A Master’s degree in Law;
Preferably 3+ years of practical experience in legal advisory, in-house legal work, or another comparable client-facing legal advisory environment;
Generalist legal mindset and interest in working with a variety of business law matters;
Practical experience in employment law matters - such as employment contracts, policy questions, workplace changes, or other employment-related advisory work
Ability to analyze legal regulation and apply it in practice;
Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken;
Good attention to detail and ability to work with legal documentation;
Responsible, structured, and proactive working style;
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Considered an advantage
Interest in developing as a broad business law generalist with the ability to support clients across different legal topics;
Willingness and motivation to take increasing responsibility over time;
Experience working in an international or cross‑border environment.
